Welcome
to Visioneering Wichita!
Visioneering Wichita – Phase
I commenced in spring of 2004 and brought area residents together
with government and community leaders to research and address
the significant challenges faced in our Wichita Metropolitan
Statistical Area (MSA). Founding Partners (City of Wichita,
Kansas Health Foundation, Sedgwick County, Wichita Area Chamber
of Commerce, Wichita Community Foundation and the Wichita
Downtown Development Corporation) hired Henry Luke of Luke
Planning to facilitate the strategic planning process and
produce a long term Vision (click
here for Vision document) for our metro community.
Visioneering Wichita has moved
into Phase II – Collaborative Implementation. This includes
the execution of selected Strategies and the development of
Action Steps by volunteer Vision Partners (click
here for form). Progress will be supported by six
Foundation Teams and a Benchmark Team. It will take the community,
in partnership with public and private organizations, working
together to make the Vision a reality.
